What's new
Because the Murano received a major update just last year, it's mostly a carryover for 2020. One noteworthy update, however, is the expanded availability of the Safety Shield® 360 suite of advanced driver assistance systems.
Design
Since it's introduction, the Nissan Murano has always had a distinct look that sets it apart from the crowd. The 2020 model continues that tradition with eye-catching design cues, such as a signature V-motion grille, boomerang headlights and a floating roofline. Meanwhile, an active grille shutter and integrated rear spoiler improve aerodynamics and boost efficiency.
As for the interior, it offers plenty of room for everyone and everything, thanks to the configurable seating arrangement. With the rear seats folded, you'll find 67 cubic feet of cargo space outback. And loading the space with gear is made easy, with the available motion-activated liftgate.

Capability
The 2020 Nissan Murano is as capable as it is versatile. Power comes from a 3.5L V6 engine putting out 260 horsepower and 240 lb.-ft of torque. An advanced Xtronic transmission routes rotational force to the drive wheels. Speaking of which, front-wheel-drive comes standard and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is available.
Underneath, you'll find a four-wheel independent suspension tuned for both responsiveness and comfort. Furthermore, for maximum stopping ability, the SUV comes with four-wheel disc brakes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). And there's a speed-sensitive power steering system that increases steering feedback.
Technology
You'll find that, from bumper to bumper, the 2020 Nissan Murano offers the latest technology. For instance, there's the NissanConnect® touchscreen multimedia center with support for both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Plus, there's a customizable color instrument cluster and remote engine start via key fob.
Then there's the advanced driver assistance technology. All Murano models come standard with the Safety Shield® 360 suite that includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.
