CNET's Roadshow Gives a Thumbs-Up to New 2017 Nissan Rogue: A Mid-Cycle Refresh Makes a Great Crossover Better

The Nissan Rogue has become wildly popular with the crossover-buying public. In fact, it's poised to become Nissan's best-selling model in the U.S. In a bid to sustain momentum, Nissan's new 2017 Rogue reflects a significant mid-cycle refresh that includes new styling, features and even a hybrid model. CNET's Roadshow has a review of the latest Rogue.

640 × 480?

The Rogue's cabin is noticeably quieter, due to the addition of noise-quietening materials throughout the car, better door seals and thicker rear glass. In addition to the SL's standard Bose audio system, satellite radio, Bluetooth and navigation with a 7-inch touchscreen, the Rogue's new Platinum Package adds adaptive cruise control along with safety technologies like lane departure warning with lane departure prevention.

The Rogue is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque and works with a continuously variable transmission.
