With the recent announcement of the all-new 2017 Nissan Pathfinder just a few weeks past, and its release just barely a few months away, many Nissan fans are scratching their heads wondering just what this new SUV has in store for its next model year. With so many performance upgrades and technological enhancements added over the years, many of us here at Route 46 Nissan are left wondering what Nissan could possibly improve upon. The answer, as it turns out, is a lot!
?
Nissan recently released this new infographic to highlight the key technology and convenience enhancements available with the 2017 Pathfinder. One major standout improvement is the new 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, which is set to churn out roughly 259 pound-feet of torque, and up to 284 horsepower. In addition, Nissan boasts that the Pathfinder is outfitted with more than 56% new or new-to-model engine parts, reaffirming Nissan's commitment to innovation in a market where we often see competitor models roll over years with little to no change. On top of that, Nissan has added a number of sought after convenience and assistive features, including a motion activated lift-gate, a standard 8.0-inch touch screen, and standard Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display.
With so many performance and feature upgrade, the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is set to make a big splash in the market when it releases later this year. For our part, we can't wait to see this adventure-equipped yet family-friendly vehicle on our showroom floor.
