Star Wars fans can rejoice! Nissan Motor Company has teamed up with Lucasfilm to promote their newest installment, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. As the first stand-alone film in the franchise, Lucasfilm wanted to design a campaign that embodied the unity and partnership motifs which pose as underlying themes in the film.
Lucas film has teamed up with five globally recognized brands, including Verizon, Gillette, General Mills, Duracell, and Nissan. The powerhouse combination plans to create a global marketing campaign over the next few months, until the release of ‘Rogue One’ in theaters on December 16th. "We are extremely pleased to be working with such a remarkable group of promotional partners for 'Rogue One,'" said Lynwen Brennan, general manager of Lucasfilm. "This first in a series of Star Wars standalone films represents an exciting new era for both Star Wars and Lucasfilm, and the partners joining us on this exciting journey have each designed a stellar campaign capturing the spirit and camaraderie of 'Rogue One.'"
